My Q10 runs on the latest official 10.3.1. Since OS upgrade I have been using battery saving mode. I only enabled the limit maximum CPU performance under this mode. I noticed when battery saving mode was turned on, BBM and WhatsApp (yes - I use it to connect with non-BB friends) notifications stopped coming through. It was only when I opened the BBM or WhatsApp app that the messages popped up. No issue with emails or text SMS though. My strong suspicion is it was related to the limit maximum CPU performance feature. Anyone with similar observation?

I always thought that was the "turn off data services" option. But you say you don't use that?

I'm facing a similar problem now after almost a year of the original thread and I'm using the same feature.

my guess is this issue will be solved on 10.3.3
