    Does BB10 have legacy app support for BBOS?

    If so then how far will support go back for BBOS?

    I am still considering on going back to Blackberry but does RIM have any plans for a future update with legacy support?

    It would be nice to run my old app's that has not been brought over yet and without having to buy them again from Amazon.

    BlackBerry has just done another round of legacy Bold 9900, I would see support for at least a couple years. Now I don't think there will be major BBOS updates if at all. Your old apps are linked to your BBID, they'll be there waiting for you.

    Not if they are unavailable on BlackBerry 10.

    That is what I am referring to cause I remember BBX but it turned into BB10 and from everything I get at BBOS app's has not carried over yet.

    I realize that, but Antl85 was asking about Legacy support, I'm guessing he/she wants to go back to a legacy BlackBerry. Show using a Lumia 928 but his sig show BB9850 - Maybe would go back to that phone a while.. Who knows.

    There are no plans to support Java in BB10 'cept in the form of Android apps.

    Most of the top BBOS apps already have BB10 versions though. And you can get the android versions when those are not there.
