Don't think it can be a third-party app, they wouldn't be allowed to use the name Instagram nor the official Instagram logo.

it wouldn't be hard to photoshop a picture of the hub to show the instagram line with the icon, put it back on the z10, open the picture and make it look like the hub is open, when in reality it's just viewing an image.

Only thing not jiving with that pic is the blurred line below the instagram hub icon. All the other separation lines are not nearly as blurry.

Just saying. Won't get overly excited about this and hold my breath just yet.

Attached will showcase a photo I was forced to edit from my personal Blackberry Q10 device to blur out all my personal information from it. The OS is 10.1.

I'm a developer and our team has been working on bringing Instagram to the Blackberry ecosystem for some time, just as the rumoured WP8 launch is coming soon, so is the Blackberry OS 10 launch as well. As well as unlike the Android port or Side Load, video capture works as well as plays properly and as expected. We're just about to make an announcement in the first week or two of September, should expect it at the end of September or early October to coincide with the 10.2 release.

I'll send more screenshots the moment I have a chance, for now this is all I can deliver.

I also have confirmation of other applications coming out that aren't available natively yet on BB10, expect more screenshots from me in the next coming days.

To the recent posters, yes - we have been working Instagram for some time now. To make things clear, this is a native app. Not a port. This will run smoother than the Instagram that you all have side loaded.

Here is the second and final screenshot taken earlier today to show it isn't fake. More news soon, I promise.
