Well, dude, step up and apply for the job!

I seriously get tired of people bashing leadership when they have never held a leadership position themselves.
I work at a mining company, as a salaried person (IT) - I used to have a friend who was an hourly worker. He used to call me a "seducer of canines" because I had a soft staff job.
Then, he got a staff job ... all of a sudden I wasn't a canine seducer any more ...

So, lets see you step up and do better!

You start your statement with a great assumption here! How do you know the poster has never held a leadership position before? They maybe a CEO of a fortune 100 company or even have once had the role as a club leader for their local Brownie / cub scout. :-)

The fact is, we are in a perfectly open world where we can pass our judgments / criticisms without fear of attack or humiliation! I for one share some of the views shared in relation to Chen doing us wrong with BlackBerry. I'm a great believer in BlackBerry and still see that it will survive (not as we have come to know and love it, but it will survive), but feel that what Chen has done was wrong.

You can bash me, as I will save you the assumption and tell you that I'm no CEO. BUT, I've a few logics to know that when feelings gets in the way of thinking, emotions blur the mind and all reasoning / rational gets blown out the water.

So, let's play nice and bash Chen and not each other. :-)

(I must agree though.. "hate" maybe too strong a word to use. Chen is after all just a man who is out to make money for a company that was loosing money, and his vision of doing so has just taken the company down another route)
