A previous thread titled speculation Google play in 10.2.1.14xx. People were hinting there was a deal in the works between the two sides and gave the date of Jan 4 for announcement of some sort. Possibly a deal between the two sides or an official os. Some people even said they seen gplay running on BlackBerry phones...

Ah. I do check in on that thread every few days or so. Must of missed that.

Still, I take anything said in such threads with a grain of salt. Rarely has anything come out of them.

While some prognostications do tend to come true - to some degree, timeframes stated seem to always be off by months.

Even so, it's still the 3rd for half the world. And, who announces anything business related on a Saturday?
