I was in the middle of using the camera app when a notification came in. I might have snapped a photo right when it happened. The photo came out fine, however the notification never left the top of the screen. I couldn't swipe or launch apps to wipe it away. I decided to take a screen shot, which worked and showed the notification overlay stuck at the top, but the "Screen capture was saved to your personal space" message was left right in the middle of the screen. It was another overlay that got stuck!

A reboot fixed the problem, of course.

Yeah, that screen capture thingy happened to me couple of times before... even the best and thoroughly developed OS will still have some bugs. It's inevitable.

I work in software development where the systems were originally developed in 60s and 70s and after 5 decades of debugging, enhancements and fixing arising issues you wouldn't believe how many stupid or crazy bugs we still have to deal with

Yep, had that happen. I blame it on myself trying to tap on the notification as it was fading away.
