There have been so many negative posts regarding problems with the update that now I see people with yet other posts asking whether they should upgrade to 10.3.1.

Initially I was disappointed with the first rollout. I am on Rogers in Toronto and I received an OTA update shortly after it was announced. Excitement soon turned to do disappointment when I found that WiFi was dropping intermittently, the hub was quite sluggish and battery life appeared to take a nosedive.

Enter the latest fix/patch (10.3.1.1767) which I received earlier this week. All of the problems that I experienced have been fixed as far as I can tell and my Z30 appears quite a bit snappier. Like a new phone. To top it off, Android apps are much faster and I can finally use Microsoft OneNote!

If you are sitting on the fence and wondering whether you should upgrade you may want to consider that happy users don't always give feedback on forums. You are only reading reports from those with problems.

I just finished installing on version 10.3.1.2558 on my Bell Z30 and all seems to be working fine. I didn't have any major issues especially for the "cannot share contact bug" still an issue, I checked.

Mine WAS working great. Just got a 80mb update and not the HUB is slow, unresponsive and frustrating. Tried everything can think of.... short of clean install. Starting to hate this phone. Worst part is I've sold so many people on the Z30 in past year or so and now it's straight up embarrassing.

Am good with the new update but just realized that my GREEN LED light notification keeps coming on. And I haven't set that color anyone having that issue

I am quite satisfied with latest OS 10.3.1.2558 but how long? Started looking for leak 10.3.2? With 10 yrs with BB, never been more than a month on same OS.

I got the official Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.2558 yesterday. So far so good it fixed the hotspot problem

...one more thing. At first I wasn't too keen on the changes to the hub. It kinds grows on you though because now I like it. Maybe because it is a lot smoother now with the update? In any case, it beats the iPhone I have to use at the office.
