    If I unlock my Verizon Q10 or Z30 via GetUnlocked.com - BlackBerry, iPhone and Samsung smartphone unlocking., will I be able to download the new 10.2.1 OS even though Verizon isn't pushing it out?

    No.
    But you can load a compatible version from a different carrier without requiring an unlocked phone.

    I'm currently running 10.2.1.2141 on my Verizon Z30. I used the information found in the various posts to obtain the OS and load it onto my phone.
