I liked my Thunderbolt a lot. The apps and widgets were great to have. Amazing screen, good email and google services integration.

There were some cons, though, that I couldn't put up with.

The screen couldn't be seen easily, sometimes at all, in sunlight.

The battery drained really quickly. This led me to get an extended batter, therefore:

The device was way too big and heavy. I found I left it in the car most time.

Being so big, it took two hands and concentration to send even quick messages. The keyboard was great though.

Did not like predictive text at all. Much prefer BlackBerry spell check and auto text.

The apps and app store made me REALLY nervous. To the point that I didn't want to add my password to the device using an app.

I missed the LED, bedside mode, profiles with quick change, app switcher.

The LED on it was so small and hidden behind the speaker grill.
Love BlackBerry custom color, bright LED!

I decided to switch back to BlackBerry when I enrolled in college (first time). I needed an efficient device with good battery, pocket able and stable email.

Not to say I'll never try Android again. But, since starting school I got a Dell laptop and a PlayBook. I don't need a phone to mimic a computer anymore.

I need a device to keep in touch only. I don't want to play on my phone. I want to message and put it away. I also use it for travel, schedules and organization.

My needs changed. I appreciate the BBOS aot more now.
Now that would make a good blackberry commercial. Just honest straightforward testimony.

I am here until the return of RIM, or... The end. Whichever happens. I'd be disappointed. But hey my Torch is pretty darned cool. No big hurry.

Lol another 2 months is nothing. Lol I prepared for this...its the whole reason I bought my 9900 off contract so that I would be free to get whatever BB10 device I desire. As long as RIM gets it right, they could release it in December And I wouldn't care.

I understand the people that say they want to wait until BB10 matures but I can't wait. I am so ready for a phone from RIM that finally puts them on par with the competition in the areas they've been lacking in for so long. Plus I beta tested the playbook and the Storm for them and lord knows it can't be any worse than the storm have ha
QNX and LTE, hand me a pen and let's do this.

I do want a 9930 now. I'm ready because I think the phone is mature and mostly bug free. Ive entered the contest to win one( http://forums.crackberry.com/general...ontest-714436/) so we'll see how that goes!

My upgrade isn't until November 2012 since I used it to try out Android. I was going to use my other line (husband phone) but I upgraded his instead.

So, I'm out there looking for a new Bold, believe me!

With iOS6, Android 5.0(jellybean) and WP8 all coming this fall it would be a HUGE mistake for RIM to miss a release of BB10 in time for the holidays.

Actually, I think I would say it would be the nail interest coffin for RIM to release a product that isn't ready when it will be coming out against OS's that are more mature than it. If it's not going to compete, then push it back. They can't release the first BB10 devices with them lacking basic features like the PlayBook did at release. They have owned QNX for 2 years now. people have always claimed how QNX supported rapid development so soon enough we'll see. If they can't make magic happen in 2 years when they know what's on the line, then it really won't look pretty come the end of the year.
