I would love it if Blackberry's next QWERTY device took the greatness of the Q10, added better specs with a bigger screen (that fits the ratio of Android apps) and named it the Bold 10.
It would be a really cool marketing strategy to remind all the former Bold loyalists who switched to a different platform that the Bold is back and can do so much more. I don't know... I would love a BB10 device with "Bold" proudly on the back

I think with the move to BB10, BlackBerry wanted to move away from confusing names and monikers. Look at their most recent OS7 device, plain and simple BlackBerry 9720, though it would've been apart of the Curve family when looking at its specs. Q10 is the new Bold, for now.

I agree, bring the Bold name back! It's actually one of the reasons I got my first BlackBerry, the Bold 9000, really like the name. Also bring back premium materials like a leather backing like the 9000, I would rather pay more and have a true premium device like that! Q10 is great but the Bold name had a lot more marketing potential in my opinion.

The Q10 sounds more like a high end phone than the "Bold" does to me. The Q has a nice James Bond ring to it.

I'm kind of on the fence with this one. I really like the "Bold" name but at the same time I understand the "Q" is the new move.

I like both names. I don't think I'd be mad either way. Just keep putting out a quality product.

Any smart company would notice that one year after the release of their Q10........... even after many switched from their Bold to the Q10, they still want a new and improved Bold phone. Bold 10 is even a great name for it. Let's hope BlackBerry is that smart company.

I agree with this unfortunately. I like the Bold name better than Q10 but people don't even know that BlackBerry has 2 OS's. I definitely think it would be cool but it won't and shouldn't happen until bb10 becomes more well known than bb7

The Bold line was great, I had a few if them...initially ready this I was in the fence But the branding has changed "Keep Moving"

Just think the Bold name is a better and more recognizable brand name for people. Just say it's the all new redesigned Bold 10 as mentioned before. "Be Bold" is a great marketing slogan also.

I also like the Torch, Curve, Storm, and Pearl names better for other devices.

Tipping a few Guinness with buds the other night, we were knocking around our next BlackBerry design/brand. I came up with a Q10 plus a trackpad called the BlackBerry Move.

Don't ask me why. Only the Guinness God's know. But it was the winner for our voting group

right now everything is associated with the old BlackBerry's, not many people seem to know about BB10 as a whole. Maybe a new redesigned Bold running on BB10 will catch their attention again, kind of like a Grand Re-Opening. Not much has worked with the Q or Z series so far.
