I was at my mom's yesterday and my brother in law uses a Note 3 and ask me what I was using, so I handed my z30 to him and all he said was "wow". He thought as everyone here in the USA, that "BlackBerry is out of business".

After playing with my z30 for a half hour, now he is looking into getting an unlocked 100-5 model like mine to use on T Mobile USA. Amazing what happens when you get the device into folks hands.

I live in Portland, OR USA, and I have NEVER seen a BB10 in use except for my own. I am definitely watching too--I am always looking at what people are using, especially since I take the bus to and from work. Here the phone market is dominated and obliterated by iPhones and G4s. It is so wrong that I never see a BB. How about other places?? What are you seeing?
New York is overrun with iPhone's and Samsung devices HTC One comes in thirds. I see maybe 3-5 BB devices including OS 7 devices a week.

Somehow, a BlackBerry 10 phone look so great and the one that used it had a taste of choice.

I still see a TON of Bolds in public. The only BB10 devices I see have been in offices. Two in fact...used by gentlemen I met with for interviews on separate occasions over the past year.

I saw one in a meeting last week and asked the guy how he liked it. He offered to sell it to me for a nickel. (aka 5 cents or less than a dollar, for those who use different currencies).

I'm in Calgary, Canada and I do see them from time to time in the bus, but not very often. Lots of iPhones and Androids.

I am from the Detroit area which is an IOS and Android dominant area. I have only seen a few BlackBerry OS10 devices and mostly at my clients at the business end. I proudly carry my z30 and everyone who sees me use it, ask me what it is.

When I tell them it's a BlackBerry z30, they looked stunned and then I proceed to show them the device and put on a demo. After I am done, the look on their face is priceless.

As they look down at their device and shake their head, I smile and ask them a simple question, can your device do that? Their reply is usually something like "BlackBerry is going out of business". I reply "I don't think so", then I kindly walk away.

The said part about this is that T Mobile which is a huge carrier here, now will not carry the BlackBerry product line anymore. I hope one day they will kiss and make up because in my opinion, the only folks who get hurt because of this pissing match, is the future consumer who wants to buy a BlackBerry product.

I know folks out there will tell me that they can just buy one online at the BlackBerry store, but most folks I know want to touch and play with a device before they buy it and that's very difficult to do through a computer screen?

Morgan Freeman was doing an interview to promote a movie and held up his Q10 for a good 15 seconds or so this morning. There's a hand to see it in.
