Default I miss the Social Feeds App from OS 7!

I really like the Hub, but I miss the Social Feeds App from OS 7! I loved the fact that I could see all my Twitter, Facebook but most importantly my RSS feeds all in one place. Please bring it back!

Congratulations on getting a BlackBerry Z10!

Unfortunately, most people found the Social Feeds app / function to be rather confusing. Also, people complained about battery drain.

With the BlackBerry Hub intended to be your communication center on BlackBerry 10, my opinion is that Social Feeds is not likely to make a comeback.

You can try Taptu, which is an Android app available in BlackBerry World.

Also, BlackBerry Hub is open to developers to tie into through a supported API, so there will (and there may already) be apps in BlackBerry World that let you access RSS feeds and tie them into BlackBerry Hub as well, so you can have them along with your Twitter and Facebook feeds.

Right there with you. Social feeds is one of my most used apps on my 9930.

The only thing that was confusing was adding an RSS feed. So why not simplify the process? There could be an 'add RSS feed to Social Feeds ' option on the browser for instance when you find the feed from your favourite site. The Hub is great for Twitter and Facebook direct messages but not for aggregating all feeds - especially important for me is RSS.

This was by far my most used app on my previous Torch 9810, so I really hope BlackBerry brings it back in some form; it was a very effective and efficient aggregator. If they can make it work as well or better in the Hub, then I'm all for it!

For RSS feeds, the hope is that BlackBerry will bring over BlackBerry News, which was a well functioning RSS feed aggregator for both BlackBerry OS 5/6/7 and BlackBerry PlayBook. Even if BlackBerry does not, RSS reader is a popular sort of an app for developers, so we should have plenty of choices.

I enjoy BlackBerry news! Almost like reading a news paper on the device.

Logical, except that social hub had RSS/podcasts built in. It seems that it is gone....forever? Hope not.
