Hi all A simple question that,I hope, will receive a simple answer.. I would like to copy an entire bbm chat. Is that possible? Cause if I select "copy chat" it does copy just a little part of it. Same thing if I try to send it via mail. I just would like to have a text file with the chat, from the very beginning.. suggestions?

I use Exporter from BlackBerry world to save my texts. Maybe you can check it out and see if it will work for you.

I do not use BBM, so I don't know anything about it.

I'm sure someone will have an idea for you soon.

You can't directly save the chat from BBM, but by tapping on the three dots buttons in the lower right of your screen while on a chat, you can either copy the chat, or send it by email. Then you can paste and save where you want, like Remember or Docs To Go.

Free, directly in chat screen, no third party!

Once copied you have to paste it somewhere. As suggested, you can paste it into Remember or an Email etc.

To paste, just go into remember or an open email and tap and hold in a blank area. A menu pops up on the right and you select paste.

I always wished when you pasted the conversation it put carriage returns between messages. This was actually one of my only complaints about BB7, which continues into BB10.

If you do what BadGoliath42 suggested above. You can copy the whole conversation.

Open the conversation you want to copy and tap the three dots in the bottom right corner. If you're using a Z10, you have to minimise the keyboard to see this. You should see the option to copy chat. This will copy the whole conversation. You can then paste it in any text editor or the like. Remember will do nicely.
