I'm in bbm, I want to write a list. I write my first item, then I want to go to the next line, WITHOUT sending the message. On my 9900 I could hold 'alt' I believe, and hit the return button, and it would go to the next line instead of sending.

How do you do this in bb10 bbm?

    Thanks cn nation.

Can't do it on BB10 yet which is dumb and annoying.

Other users are young word substitution to skip a line (save a letter or symbol such as ".." to space space space space)

I am waiting for this to be fixed in next update hopefully

That's dumb. It's stuff like this that really annoys me. Makes me wish I wasn't a sucker for early adoption. A beta user. BlackBerry only seemed to catch 75% of these little awesome features from OS7

It's not BlackBerry's responsibility nor fault that a third party app doesn't feature that. Jut saying.

I think that was a option in the bbm 7 settings... Press enter to send...

Yep, it's also the same for making new Word Substitution entries.

It definitely sucks, but I'm not up too up in arms about it yet.
I've been happy with how quickly BBRY has addressed many bugs in the OS and in some native apps.

I'm optimistic that they will add in these favourite legacy features within the very near future.
To me the pros of BB10 are not even close to being outweighed by these nitpicky, but annoying, cons.
