As title apply... how to reset or clear all keyboard typing habit? It seems my z10 "learned" how I press my keyboard and now I want to reset it.

I used to hold my z10 a little bit diagonal wherein the space key is a little up sideways. When I do mistakes and edit, it seems BB10 learns that the area is thr SPACE key.

Now that I hold my z10 a bit straight, I usually hit the space between B and Space and BB10 gave me a B instead of space. Same goes for O and I, Backspace and L. This happens only when I hit in between both keys.

Really need helpbhere or else im hating the "fast" keyb of Z10.

Go into settings/ language and input/ scroll to the bottom and clear learned words.

Go to "setting" then TAP "Language and input" then go to "Prediction and Correction" then scroll down you will see "CLEAR LEARNED WORDS' tried that?

I thought "learned words" are for future prediction. My problem is character/kry level wherein I press the line between B and space, it gives me B. Or if between M and Backspace it gives me M

I see the option to clear learned words but out of curiosity is there a method to view these supposedly "learned words" and edit / delete them individually...

Clearing learned words will NOT fix this problem!!

I have the same problem. I started with a z10 and had done* bad typing habits. I switched to a q10, and now I went to a z30 but it 'corrects' (messes up) the same typing problems as it did on my z10 because I switched devices through bb link each time.

I want to completely clear all if* these keyboard learnings and start fresh!! I have tried clearing the learned words and that did not fix anything! It only made things worse because it forgot the learned words that I actually use often and want it to correct.

How do we reset the keyboard learnings? Not just the learned words...


**Note: I typed this message without correcting these errors and you can see where it changed words that were correct yo* something else
Example:
That 'yo' should say 'to'
'done' was 'some'
'if' was 'of'
I know that I did type these all correctly and it did in fact change these words incorrectly as I carefully watched as I typed.

For the most part I love the bb10 virtual keyboard but these problems can be very frustrating!!

Yes, I have cleared the learned words as well as disabled the auto correct as I press space setting which was no help.

Yeah I also have similar problem and not solve. 80% of my spaces resulted in "b" and 60% of "n" resulted as enter or submit button.

I hope we can find a solution for this without having to completely wipe our phones to start fresh. I have too much data I need backed up and I'm not sure what would be safe to backup and restore without bringing these keyboard un-learnings back...

Does anyone know the best way to contact bb tech support maybe?
