Hi

I use the "use the sd card as a mass storage device" option in the settings and with this I put songs and albums in the music folder. Every single song is visible, even the album itself, but when I select the album it only shows one song and not the complete album (every single song of the album has this).

I can't figure out how to just play the entire album. This must be a feature for sure but can't find it.

Can you make an screen shot please?

When you choose album the player looks in every music file for the "album" tag. Have all your files from the album the same entry in the "album" tag?

When I click on one of them I get this



So to play this whole album, I have to go through every single one of them instead of being able to play the album so it plays the songs one after another.

And yes, all the songs from the album have the same album tag.

You have to tag your songs to be sorted you can download audio tag from amazon

Make sure not just Album but also Album Artist tags are consistent between all the songs. Use something like MP3Tag on your computer to fix them.

There is also another application called No Tag Player in BBW this app will sort your songs as sorted in File Manager

What about if after making sure all songs are in the same folder, you just "display album" from the music player after playing one of them, say the 1st track...
Couldn't you then play or en queue them all within your current playlist ?

Playlists is another option, the one I opted for.

Either way must admit it is tedious & BlackBerry 10 Music Player is a real shame when it comes to organizing libraries.

At times, unfortunately. I use it when I'm on the motorcycle using a bluetooth headset, since I can control it from the controls on the helmet, but any other time I use Neutron Player. It doesn't have the issue.

It apparently has something to do with that specific album, I just tried another one and this doesn't have that problem.

Still have to try to figure out what's wrong, I checked for wrong tags, but nothing.

I figured it out, it's like Thurask says

The other albums I was talking about had the same artist, but the one above had different artists. I opened the tags of the songs in that album all at once and checked the option 'compilation of songs of different artists" and that solved it.

there are some good command-line id3 tag utils for batch tagging....but for the lazy, there's 'folder player' (android app)
