How much $ have you guys spent on apps from the Z10 so far?
I just remembered that CEO Heins promised to app developers that they would make at least $10,000 within the first year. So basically the less amount us, users, spent on apps, the more money Blackberry will be required to pay money to those developers. So far, I have not downloaded any paid apps yet, and i havent really found any apps worth paying for really...
If there are 70,000 apps and none of them generated any money at all, blackberry will be forced to pay $700-million???

This is the third thread in the last day that I have seen you create and put a negative spin on it. You are making assumptions that apps aren't /won't sell . Also saying you don't think there are any apps worth paying for. You then veil it with the threads title of how much we have spent on apps. Why do you keep making negative posts.

Sticking to the original question, I have spent zero on apps because I have zero apps because I have zero z10s

The incentive is for devs who make apps using their guidelines not just any random useless app. I had a quick browse in Bb world and I didn't see any useful apps let alone any using cascades. I really hope those big apps arrive soon because my excitement deflated a little after not seeing any exciting apps... Maybe I didn't look closely?

Perhaps you should consider reading your own link before making incorrect comments, an app has to make a minimum of $1000 and under $10,000 for Rim to pay the difference, so it will obviously not apply to low interest paid apps or to any of the free apps and realistically any apps that are selling 100s of copies are probably going to end up pushing on towards the 1000s of sales that would take them past the $10k mark too.

There are a ton of good apps, and people who say they've spent zero either already have those apps on a different platform and don't want to repurchase them, or they just don't purchase apps on any platform.
World of Goo, for example, is an easy $5. It's one of the best selling games on Android, and ios.
I've spent around $30ish so far - 02-09-2013, 08:20 AM #16
World of Goo - so many jokes to make, so little time.

I've spent 0.75 so far, but mainly because I haven't been browsing the store a whole lot.
Haven't got a huge fascination with apps I use the web.

But Android is the devil's work (per many of the Faithful).
How about some travel apps? You know, for business travelers. Kayak maybe?
World of Goo.
And I am many many multiples of 12. But thanks for playing.

So if the minimum is $1,000... Blackberry will need to reimburse $9,000 and if there are 70,000 apps.... A sum of $630mil :S
