Default How fast is active sync?

So I set up active sync for my school email, and its not very "active". Takes a while to get my emails (ive been emailing myself as tests). Is it INSTANT for anyone else?

As fast as BIS from my extensive experience using it.

Instant for me. I can type a email on my laptop and it appears right away as "Draft" on the device...

I have a number of email accounts and all are push. Most are imap idle push. Also have two active sync outlook.com and one corporate exchange all three using active sync.

I get emails from all accounts in about 6 seconds. I have the interval set to 24 hours to further confirm I am getting push email.

Active sync for me is as near instantaneous as can be expected.

Actually I am getting emails faster on Z10, ActiveSync with outlook.com acc, compared to 9900. Usually it is about 10 seconds faster.

Thanks for the help guys. It must have still been trying to load everything the first time I tried it. It's going well now, wow! Too bad Google dropped active sync support lol

Gmail emails come through on my BB first and then in Outlook. I would say that this is because of my setup. Pretty instantenously if you ask me.
