I have a Z10, but I think this question applies to all OS. My Z10 has 10.2.1 OS latest from AT&T. Whenever I send SMS, I do not see the character count. With iOS and Android, I can see character count so I know if i m over the SMS limit.

Does anyone know how to enable the count?

    Thanks.

Don't see it on 10.3.1. And don't remember it in 10.2.1.

Might be something they left out

It's coming up once you are a few letters off the limit. At around 140 letters it will show up for you. I believe the limit for text message is 160 or so...

It's coming after the 29th character on a classic:

On my Z30, it starts after the 16th character.

    "Z30 STA100-2 UK" 10.3.1.2582 Get's a Ten from Fen.

OK, now I see it. A strange implementation, but it works as it shows the character count when it almost hits the limit.

    Thank you all.
