    Hi all sorry if I sound a bit dim/dumb, but how does the OTA OS Update work in regards too do I need to back my data beforehand? Or does it somehow keep the existing data because it's an OTA update reason I ask is all previous updates with older BlackBerry I've done via desktop manager and plus I'm still waiting for orange UK to push the update

    No need to backup or anything. The phone restarts in the exact same state that you left it in before performing the update.
