Is there a way to clean the application data?
For example twitter App has about 300 MB. How do I clean it?

In my opinion, if an app builds cache, they should have a clear cache setting. If they dont... its poor design.

Wouldn't a good ol' reboot solve the issue?

    It doesn't.
Best bet is to delete from device monitor and then a reboot.

You can check the cache in the device monitor storage and see that the cache is still the same as before.
