On my BB Classic, I want to be notified of new e-mail only when I actively press a button to check.
I have my e-mail sync interval set to manual and push is disabled.
However, my e-mail from two separate IMAP accounts is always pushed to my device immediately, without my doing anything.
How can I turn this behaviour off?

    Software version is 10.3.2.2836
    OS version is 10.3.2.2876
This is the newest software that is available for my device!

I believe you will have to delete the two IMAP accounts on your device and reconfigure them for any changes to kick in. If you're unsure what your settings should be then make a note of the settings (or screenshot) for reference before you delete them.

During set up of the email accounts disable the "use push if supported" setting and change your sync interval to manual.

    That should provide solution.

As @semime suggested, it does seem that your settings weren't applied. Sync = manual and disabling push sounds like it should've worked for what you're wanting. My only other suggestoin is to use a third-party mail app like K-9. Very configurable and I have it set in a similar way to what you described with one of my accounts.

I completely reset the Classic to factory settings and set up the e-mail Account from scratch. This time I had push disabled and sync interval "manual" from the Start, but it still auto-downloads the mail! If it's that consistent, it must be a Bug, right?
