Does anyone know how to hide unused icons on your home screens like on OS7? I want to get rid of duplicate icons such as the camera and the phone (seeing that they are already displayed on lower bar)

That's what I have done as well.....not what we're used to but it does the job.

I've created a group on my far right panel called "Hidden" and put them all in there.

So here's a question, if you press and hold and icon on your screen and hit the trash button. How does one restore it?

I've deleted the "connect to dropbox" button on the home screen, and since my file manager doesn't seem to connect to drop box any more... dur??

Anyone know how to get it back? Sorry to hijack, but it seemed the original topic was answered.

Reinstall from BlackBerry world. The trashcan deletes the app.

I'll have a look, I thought the connect with drop box was part of the OS?

    Welcome...glad to help.

Also, as long as you are stock OS, if you went to settings and check for update. Any preloaded apps that have been delete will come back. It will say you have an update, and just download those apps.

    Have a good night.

    Am I understanding correctly?
So the only way to to "delete" icons off the home screen is not to delete them at all but only group the stock icons into a folder?

In fact if you want to hide icon is probably because you don't need the apps.
But understanding that you want them back at a later time.
So why not just delete the apps. Afterwhile, if you want it back just go the BlackBerry World > my world > apps & games >...you will see it under "avaliable" tab. just charge it back.
