I need to be able to hide pictures. People always want to either use my z10 or see it.

I have photos on the media card, so, when you open the photo app you see random pics. I have pics that I don't want anybody to see.

I need a way to hide them so they don't show up in the pic app when open or minimized and they rotate.

So I can hand off my phone and not worry about who clicks on what.

Any apps - Paid or not cause $1.99 is worth a piece of mind.

    Stop, drop, and roll.

There's a lot of free apps in BBW that accomplish this feat, but a "built in" method is to zip the files you wish to hide via file manager and then delete the originals. They won't index on the pictures app (since they are zipped) but will be available from the file manager.

I take that back... Haven't used it in so long that I just messed around with it again and lost my files, haha. what a joke. It was fine while it lasted, but use it at your own risk I guess

Ha! I heard if you hide files then uninstall the app, they're gone.

Or apparently if you unhide as well. I emailed the developer, so we'll see what happens

I used to have the same problem - but be careful if you have encrypted your SD Card. Max Hide and Encrypt did a real mess to my phone. One day there was a random freeze of the app and my SD Card needs to be format. My phone couldn't recognize the Card.
And the worst case is- the SD Card was encrypted and useless:/ every document, picture etc.was gone!!
Now I'm using the ZIP option, just put all the pictures you don't want to show in a folder, ZIP them and its done
I hope they will add the ZIP Password Option back from OS7, but for now no password protection, but its better then mix 2 encryption on 1file(the BlackBerry encryption plus the app encryption).

Please check "Recycle Bin for BlackBerry 10"
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/28976891

From the pictures app, you can select a single or multiple pictures, tap "Share", then "Send to Recycle Bin".... the pictures will be safely stored/protected in the Recycle Bin... when you get your phone back... goto the app and tap on "Restore" and all the pictures will return to their original location.

"Remember"ing is boring, try "Dayly for BB10"

I personally use "Hide Files & Folders for BlackBerry 10"
It works really well and definitely worth the cash!
The only thing is before every update they ask that you unhide all files then re hide pretty good no one can see anything that you hide using the app check it out.

No need for any of the above!

Copy the pictures to your music folder in the media card. They won't appear in the pictures or music app and noone will think to open the music folder from the file manager
