    Hi everyone.. I use Q5SQR100-3/10.2.1.3253 and I have latest BBM.

    Previously when I was in 10.1 (the version I got initially with the phone) video calling on bbm worked fine. Even I made vid.call to my friend a couple of times. I used to see a 'video button' in grey color before.

    But when I updated to 10.2 it stopped working. I tried updating to 10.3 but of no use. As 10.3 is still developing I downgraded back to 10.2. Even I tried different BBM versions using sachesi.

    I'm really frustrated by this. Please help me in this. If this is because of my sqr100-3 or of my carrier, I shouldn't be able to make call initially when I bought phone. Please help me.

    Btw I live in India and I use tata docomo network.

    Is there an option that says "allow calls over cellular". Is that on or off?

    Can you check if it happens on wifi as well?
    Also, I'm guessing this is happening with all of your contacts..

    No I don't have that option.. what bothers me more is one of my friends has sqr100-2 he's using same carrier as me. He's able to make calls. I tried extracting and installing his BBM bar file.

    Yeah I tried using wi-fi :-(

    Hey thanks. Security wipe helped.

    Later I restored using my old backup excluding bbm. Problem repeated again. Do u know where exactly the problem is.??

    It's working now... I restored only app data, excluding 'BlackBerry runtime ' and 'system settings '.
    Lol.. now I'm scared to update BBM :-)

    Anyways thanks for the tip

    hello guys,
    I got the same issue. I got a Z10 STL100-3. it is impossible to use Bbm voice with this device. Bbm chat works perfectly. I made a security wipe two times but it doesn't work. the version of OS and applications are the same than my Z10 which is a STL100-2
    I don't know if the device type is the reason of the issue.
    Please could you help me ?

    Ya it's because of stl 100-3. Assuming u r from India, do this way
    Do a security wipe (don't restore). After reboot, in agreement select country as Singapore( English ). Select Singapore whenever u go through regional settings.

    I have two devices, a Z10 and another Q10. I updated either to 10.3.0.908 same day and guess what happened...Z10 contracts are still on BBM Voice/Video, while Q10 are NOT.
    Weird enough, yet no...
