    Your friend will need to reset her BBID. If she can't, then you will not be able to use the device.

    Impossible to forgot BB ID as it's a mail ID in reality
    Unless someone closes his her mail ID no way they can forget it.
    If the case is genuine ask her to use eMail ID which was used for BB ID.
