hello guys a month ago I installed a leaked os and this is my current version and model number Q10SQN100-3/10.3.1.821 It was all fine for a while until the phone froze and restarted by itself then the sensors are working no more...checked it on BBVE it shows that the sensors are unavailable or can't obtain data from sensor I will provide you with the images.. I tried many things reset factory settings turn location services off reload it via BlackBerry Link nothing seemed to help! installed an old OS version the holster showed available! if anyone knows how to fix this issue please help. I suggest it's a bug but i can't find any solution for it

Same problem here. Used to work fine (for the past year or so) and suddenly, for no reason, stopped working. BlackBerry classic.

Hi, my proximity sensor does not work on my Z30 (at the moment), BBVE says: it's unavailable. It's weird: I run the latest leaked OS, several times reinstalled the OS via not only sachesi but autoloader, I've done several security wipes. Sometimes it's available (but only waiting then fail) sometimes it's totally unavailable - not only the proximity sensor, but the light sensor too. I don't know, now I'm uncertain: I tought it's only software failure, but can it be hardware failure? What can I do? Should I disassemble the phone and move a little the wirings? Can it be helpful? I have no more warranty. Thanks.

Yeah, it's very annoying: I have to push the standby button during calls, like I'd have a cheap droid phone without sensors. As far as I know: it's a quite old problem but where is the solution? If it's a hw problem it's very looser thing for BB, if it's sw: why cannot be solved via new OS release? Even in this thread culd not find solution... Bahh...
