    Default Having sensor issues on your device? Post your log file and help us sort it out!

    We're trying to get to the bottom of the failed sensor issue, so if you're having problems, please take a few minutes and post your log file here so we can see what's going on.

    To find your log file:

    • Open Help application
    • Tap the icon in the lower left
    • Select Support
    • Select create report
    • Enter 12345678 under Incident # field (leave the inc 0s as they appear) Enter your email address Select Create Report
    • Click Cancel (not submit) or click back


    Then using the File Manager application, Select device (not SD Card) -- Browse to /documents/log - ZIP the file and attach to your reply here

    Just one thing the create report button does not show up on the lower left icon for me, i had to swipe from the top to find it, although im not having any issues but just a heads up for people who cannot find their create report button.

    Default Same Problem

    I am experiencing the same problem since last night. I thought Its just me but now lets hope someone fixes this soon! It is a beautiful phone and I would hate to have to leave Blackberry.

    You mean like rotation doesn't work at times?

    Or that auto dimming sometime works and sometime doesn't? (Very surprised to see we had auto dimming now).

    I did but it was solved after I deleted Angry Birds Seasons! Problems started after I had downloaded the game!!

    Try my fix, I changed date to 1 month behind, November, restarted it, then changed back to December, so far so good. I have a Q10 with keyboard not lighting up, all is good so far

    deleted angry birds and restarted phone. working now. Curiously been asked to do a software update 10.2.0.429 (I am on ee network). Currently on 10.2.0.424

    Yeah that was my thought as well, but after a while the back light stops working. I agree that some of the free downloads might have had something to do with this...

    My mom had a similar issue a few days ago on her STL 100-1. Told her to do a battery pull and everything worked after that.

    This sensor issue is unrelated to that I believe.

    Yep -- I'm definitely having this same issue, and everything was working perfectly until sometime within the last 24 hours, or so. It's the craziest thing I've seen in a while, as I didn't even have issues like this back when I had my Storm 2?

    By the way, I followed the directions given in the OP, but was unable to attach the log file because the CB Forums file chooser says I'm working with an invalid file type (not an image file).

    Is there another way to upload it? I'm using my Z30 (STA100-3) running 10.2.0.1089.

    I have had sound issues (notifications silent) and my keyboard is often not backlit when it's dark...seemed to happen after the 10.2 upgrade on my Q10 SQN100-1

    It seems that only those who are on official OS are affected by this. Running 1055, updated Minion Rush, downloaded Angry Birds: Seasons and encountered zero problems.

    ummm .. some of my friends (as myself) noticed that we got this problem after we updated Minion Rush yesterday.

    Nope, I'm with 10.2.1.1055 and am experiencing some of the problems, especially the sensors and notification sounds, very annoying

    How/Where do you want us to attach the log file.

    I can't find how on from CB Apps or CB Web site. Only pictures or hyperlink
