After a brief fling with Android and now iPhone6 I am desperate to move back to BB mainly for the hub. Can someone please tell me if the following apps will integrate with the hub?

Facebook messenger (daughter uses that)
Line (Wife uses that)
Whatsapp (friends)

Looks like I will buy the Passport, iPhone6 plus going on ebay.

Well Facebook itself integrates. I just message through that in the hub. What's the benefit of using the messenger?

Facebook messaging works in hub although messenger does not.

Whatsapp is one of the best apps on BlackBerry and integrates very nicely in the hub. Whatsapp is constantly updated and is just an all around great native BB10 app.

Line doesn't integrate I don't believe. Any chance you can get your wife to do Whatsapp or BBM?

Whatsapp: yes
Facebook messenger: facebook app: yes, but there's report about the delay and sometimes undeliverable messages. You can, however, install messenger from android which is "kind of" integrated (notifications, but not quick reply, and tap the hub notif sends us to the app itself), or use 3rd party app

I think the FB app on iOS and Android pushed everyone to Messenger, coming from those platforms one might assume you need to use Messenger on BB10 too.

I don't see a delay with message notifications in the hub, but with all other FB alerts I do. Not sure why but I assume it has to do with refresh rates as my emails don't push immediately to the hub either.

There are no settings for facebook to set up anyway
I installed Messenger (the official facebook messenger) and it works well especially to give instant notifications and does integrate to the hub through the notification tab

Line only shows as Notification so it's not integrated into Hub.

Facebook is integrated into Hub and in BB10 if you use the Native FB app you don't need a separate Messenger app. You can directly FB Message people from the Hub.

What's App is also directly integrated into Hub using the native app.
