    My phone continues to reboot and before updating I just wanted to know if the text message being deleted after updating problem has been fixed as there is still no change on BlackBerry's knowledge base article about it.

    When I updated to the 10.1 MR last week (T-Mobile), I didn't lose any texts. This is not a guarantee that you won't. It is also very likely you will have several problems/bugs/errors upon upgrading which will require hours of your time to fix or either just accept. It is highly unlikely that your upgrade will go error-free. Have fun.

    The problem of the update deleting text history seems to have been forgotten with time as new text history has been created. But obviously that doesn't mean that anyone updating to the MR release for the first time wouldn't lose them.

    My texts still freeze, need the update, can't restore until I get BlackBerry Link installed, but the install keeps rolling back.

    Can't even back up and restore with existing OS with BlackBerry Link to see if it fixes the issue, but Link keeps rolling back the install and failing with no response from BlackBerry on how to fix Link.... FML
