is it possible to return a Q10 back to "stock"?
i've tried a few leaks, and it's been a hit and miss, with the last one causing my battery to heat up and drain, etc.
i wanna change to a different release, then i saw the official 10.2 is rolling out which got me thinking..

can i return my device back to the original old OS, and then receive official OS update notifications, etc?

If you mean going back to the original 10.0 OS I think you might be disappointed. If you want to go back just a few to a prior OS or one from a backup, this thread is useful.

well the idea is to get back to an official OS release from my carrier, so that when i "check for updates", i would receive their any OTA updates available.

By far the easiest way would be to use Sachesi to go directly to the official 10.2 from your carrier, if it is available, or another if not. If the leak you are running has a lower version than the official version from your carrier you would have already received an offer to upgrade.

Use sachesi, look up your isp country number and corresponding isp number, check the debrick option in sachesi and install the OS from your provider. Remember that it will reset your device and you can't restore a backup. Basically you start as if it was your first day with your phone

Read and follow instructions completely. Make sure you run your battery completely dead then run installer and plug your phone when prompted. This has worked for me last night to go back to 10.0.09. Good luck.

P.S. Only attempt if you are comfortable with doing this. I can't guarantee it will work without fail. Report is if you install without a dead battery your phone will die early. Meaning if you flash with 50% battery your phone will die at 50% charge left.
