When you search for something in Google and then select images, the images are all low res and hardly viewable. I need to click on "see full image" for every image in order to see it correctly.

Very annoying. Anyone know how to get full image res right away?

By the way, someone in an old post suggested going to desktop mode to get around this. This is not a reasonable fix I MO. Both my android and my iPhone have clear image results from the mobile browser and so BlackBerry should be able to do it as well. I think this must be a settings issue.

    See example image below.

Yeah, this isn't very hard to fix... when ever you view a photo there is always a "view full size image" on the top right..

I get the OP's point, that's an extra step and it gets very annoying, it would be great to have the option not to click that each time, it's very irritating!

I on the other hand like to have the option to view the image individually, or actually view the webpage it was posted on.

For Browsie Browser owners do the following:

Go to Display and Actions -> useragent -> Android or IPhone.
This will make it display the same Google as on your Android and IPhone.

Thanks that's the only viable option that I can see it's not viable to click on full-size image each and every time you want to look at a photo . should be able to scroll quickly through hundred photos and feel confident that you're seeing them correctly

Here's what Firefox posts on their site about this issue I'm referring to. Coincidentally it adds to my already substantial hate for Google.

"The site that Google is sending to Google Chrome is completely different than the one Firefox gets from Google.

Browsers display the content web servers send to them. If the web server sends garbage then there is nothing the web browser can do to fix it.

The only thing we and users can do is to lobby the owner of the web server to provide good content. We have a team of people who try to improve the state of mobile websites. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Evangelism"

The whole reason for having a low resolution picture to begin with is so that you save on data costs. Why load 10 images in HD when you actually only need one?

So load 10 in low res and then high res for the one you want. As usual there should always be an option to chose what quality you want just like BBM which allows you the option to automatically accept HD images.

That's my point, give me an option, don't tell me how it should operate. BlackBerry does NOT know better than their customers. Taking away options is BAD! Different people have different expectations and requirements, some individuals are less sensitive to data usage than others.

It has nothing to do with BlackBerry.

    Google decides what you get.

As mentioned earlier, get another browser where you can change the user agent.

It's possible Google lumps in BBOS and BB10 together, alot of BBOS users in many countries have limited data plans so Google defaults to lo-res.

Exactly my point, so many on these threads jump to attack without truly understanding the limitations or possibilities. Why defend BlackBerry if they're not trying themselves. This has always been BlackBerry's problem, they think they know better than the user.

I noticed this as well w/ Google search results. So I use Bing for image results. Not only are the images high quality, but you keep scrolling and scrolling endlessly. Unlike Googles limited images per page display.

Furthermore you can swipe OR use the arrows on a selected image on Bing, as opposed to only using the arrows on Google image results.
