I didn't do something different to.m phone which could cause this.

No help on google. I hv tried all the options like rebooting, sim card in-out etc.

I have two email accounts. One has 7000+ mails but hub loads the latest ones i think. Other one has 40-50 mails.

I don't use bbm much. 4 contacts. For sms, usage is very low with 20 contacts.

Before the problem, hub used to load within 2 minutes. But now it never loads

BlackBerry Hub only prepares on startup, and when you manually reset it. Try deleting your email account first. Then restart. Add it again after the Hub prepares.

Each time my Z10 shouts down (battery) I have a similar problem with the HUB.
In my case preparing hub take few minutes but after that the hub is unresponsive for more than an hour. Also my phone gets slow and it seem that this hub preparation take all CPU capacity.
Maybe I will need to wipe device too.

I have similar problem, phone has been stuck on preparing blackberry hub for over 8 hours. In addition if I try and access any apps it does not respond so cannot reload operating sytems as cannot access setting or any other screens. I have tried swiping down 5 times, removing battery, removing sim, swithcing it on with no sim on and pressing both up/down volume for 10 seconds.

Presume a security wipe suggested above resets the entire phone so will lose all data and apps etc.

Any other suggestions before I go down that route as typical that I haven't backed up recently!! Also how do I do a security wipe?

    Cheers

Did you try to reset the HUB again ?
Just swipe quickly 5 times from the top-right corner to the center while in the HUB.

I did but no luck. I even did a security wipe. Hub works fine on the start up and when I add the accounts and do a restart the hub freeze again along with the contacts and accounts under settings.

What's your phone model and OS version ? (type myver followed by a space to let the auto-correct do its job)
Are you connected to a Wi-Fi hot-spot on startup ? How did you add your account, manually or through the auto-detect feature ?

Maybe there is a msg in one of the accounts that causes this. The hub may have a problem with loading it or something. Such things used to crash Nokia's symbian phones and even sometimes desktop software as well I think.

Look through your last msgs on all of your accounts and check if there aren't any strange msgs with funny characters or attachments. This is a long shot but might be the cause of this behavior.

    Good luck!

Hi, sadly the OTA upgrades have always been a weakness of BB10. You are going to have to reload the OS with Link or an autoloader.
