    Hi all!

Got my Z10 now and I'm pretty happy so far. But there is a thing which confuses me a bit.

When I swipe from the BlackBerry-Logo up to the edge, sometimes I fully unlock my Z10, and sometimes it just wakes up, but I have to swipe a second time. How does this come? Whats the difference?

When its locked with a passcode, it wakes up.

If not like when you manually just locked it, it unlocks

    Nope.

Its locked with a code, so sometimes it just wakes and sometimes it directly jumps to the code dialog (or goes to the homescreen if not locked yet).

No guys, if u swipe to wake up before the lock time (for eg if u set ur lock time to five minutes) u will completely wake up the phone. If you try to wake it up after the lock time you'll have to enter your password or in my case, solve the picture password

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just want to Swipe so the lock screen becomes visible, but it always jumps to Picture Password automatically unless I do like a very slow curved swipe.

I know this is an old post, but I had noticed the same thing. Levi is correct, however, to get the password screen, you need to swipe more than half way up the screen otherwise the password screen does not open and it goes to or stays on the notification screen. It is similar to when you close/minimize an app, if you don't swipe up high enough the app will not close. This appears to be the intended design.
