I presume this has been spoken about before but I can't find anything. I'm no software expert, but as far as I'm aware the lack of Google Play Services means that BB can't work with Android Wear, right?

I've switched from Windows Phone and Android (work and personal) to just the BBPP and I'm becoming increasingly intrigued by the Moto 360.

Is it unrealistic to presume that there is something on the horizon that would let BB10 devices work with Android Wear?

I think you are correct that without Gplay services android wear isnt going to work as it should
