Just try Face Slim (BBW) or Disa (Play Store).

I actually do find it to be a rather unfortunate loss. As many people bashed the facebook app as a facebook browser, there isn't much they could hate on it as a simple way to use messenger. Hub integration was great and I will miss it.

I've recently discovered Disa from the Google play store and this will be my alternative.

This one DM I got to my BlackBerry Passport - FB messenger on the hub.

Simon Da Osam Paul (my username on fb, LOL), Thank you for using Messenger. We regret to inform you that starting today, November 30th, we'll no longer support messaging for BlackBerry. You will no longer be able to send or receive messages on the Messenger app on your BlackBerry phone. You will be able to continue to access your Messenger conversations on desktop or mobile. To continue to send and receive messages from your BlackBerry device, you can use the updated version of the Facebook for BlackBerry or Facebook for BlackBerry 10 mobile apps, or use the mobile web version of Facebook at https://m.facebook.com/messages. Thank you, The Messenger Team
