    Nope, no idea why it was took out at the last minute
    You can however sideload the .1259 camera bar over the official release and obtain this feature again

    Not on official. I loaded the 1259 camera to get it back. It is a better camera file IMO. Face focus makes it unique. But I feel the shutter and focus speeds are faster. I just took pictures at a party with the birthday dudes Nexus5 and my focus time was a lot faster. My Q10 found faces just as fast but took photos faster than his. Load it up!
