Umm 8 days doesn't reach January 30th where Everything will be unveiled so I don't see what the point of this is if it is Not part of the Launch.

Interesting. I look forward to seeing how functional this one is in different regions. Also, seeing as it's a 3rd party app, I wonder if it will be able to speak to text for BBM, texts, emails, and others.

Lol. If it's any consolation my post #1 at least has the proper link, rest of the media who got on this info didn't get the spelling right,hence they have broken links going no where, we at CB now have the countdown clock, at the right website.

Well that's not only a first, but a welcome first too! Something exclusive to BlackBerry and looking good is always welcome. I'm hoping this actually is something quite revolutionary in the voice control realm

They (the engine) have done work with voice/data controlled artificial intelligence robots, so just based on that this should be interesting.

I'm not sure if it was always in the works or spawned on from RIM's Innovation Zone Startup Villiage, perhaps some of both.

With cost of over-seas labor being fairly low, you could really have actual humans listening in on your "Viki" or "Siri" requests and perhaps acting as a personal assistant or concierge? With many of our tech support out of India already, this may be the wave of the future?
