    Default Exchange initiated Security Wipe

Just a heads up to the admin and users out there, that you have the ability to do a remote wipe with Exchange 2010 (possibly others) via active sync. This will WIPE all data on an SD card that is in the device as well. I learned the hard way, lost a months worth of pictures. Also, BB Link doesn't backup any SD card data.

I think its configurable on wiping the SD card or not but not 100% sure.

dude that sucks. you should enable box to auto upload all of your pictures and videos the moment you take them.

did you ask IT why they wiped your phone in the first place?

I'm IT . I was testing for a friend who is just starting BB10 as his small workplace and thought he needed BES to do remote wipe. Worthy of note, security wipe on the Device does not wipe the SD card.
