I just post this so that other people having the same problem might find a solution in this, too.

I am owning a Z10 with OS 10.2.1 and have paid Exchange 2013 mail. On my exchange account I have 300+ contacts, all with pictures etc.

I noticed my Z10 would not sync all my contacts, it stopped somewhere at 170 contacts. Deleting account, battery pull, temporarily placing Exchange contacts into different map so they get deleted on device, and moving them back - none of this helped.

What I finally did, with Outlook 2013 I exported all contacts to CSV. Deleted in Outook. Removed account from my BB, then imported the CSV file again into Outlook contacts. Then added back the Exchange account to my Z10. And voila. All contacts synced.

Unfortunately I lost some fields, and all contact pictures are gone. But at least sync is working again. Maybe one or more contacts got corrupted over time. Though it would sync perfectly on S4 and iPhone. Anyway, hope this helps other people as well.

How long did you give ActiveSync to copy all of the contacts before giving up?
