Since the OS 10 built in emojis are limited 😭

So, taking from some tactics others have mentioned on this forum, I wanted to share how I do mine.

Twitter app has a very optimal selection of industry standard emojis, so here is what I do.

Open twitter, go to compose. Locate emojis you want to add to your OS10 vocabulary as shown below.



Copy the first one, then go over to your device settings>language & input>prediction and correction>word substitution>add shortcut





Enter the name of the shortcut/emoji you want to use. Example: ebath = 🛁 in my OS.



Then proceed to save the new shortcut/emoji.

When typing up an text msg, it shows up as you see above.

Some examples:

🛁 💰 💲 😆 🙋

I use $ + a letter or two for emoticons. No alt, and super quick.

example: $l 😂 $s 😀
