Early hardware upgrades for BB10 devices in 2012?

That's what i want to see when BB10 hits the shelves!

I wouldn't count on it.
The cellular business is all about new activations on 2yr (USA) and 3yr(Canada)
If BB10 lives up to its potential all the carriers will be lobbying Rim for 90 day exclusivity.

In Canada, the major carriers have been offering early upgrades for iphone users (although I'm not sure about 4s) for anyone who has bought an iphone more than 3 months before the launch.

I'm not sure who paid for what with these upgrades. Apple? Carriers? But I'm certain that it contributed to a lot of happy iphone users (and resellers!)

I think it's a he11 of a way to get a lot of people on the new stuff quickly.
