I was reading the "dual boot Android" topic in the Z10 forum after reading the "New OS7 device" topic and thought, wow, how cool would my Z10 be with the choice of booting to BB10 or a version of OS7.1 :thumbup:

1: Would this be possible?

2: Would you use a feature like this?

I certainly would use the feature if it were available!

Before you fall victim to the anger coming from peeps...

Yes and no. You can't do true dualboot - because if we muck with the bootloader, bb10 will kill itself (security check). Your best bet is going to be running OS7 via JavaVM. The issue here though is it needs straight through tunneling to core system features which are locked by RIM.

for example if you want to have a background app in JavaVM - it only would work when you have the app open. On call event, more restrictive.
