Hi all,

I have an european unlocked version BlackBerry Z10 STL100-2 with OS 10.0.9.2372. I'm located in Hong Kong using local service provider SIM in which i cannot get any update OS.

On the forum, most of the expertise said use Canada "Rogers" Carrier SIM can get the update OS. By the way, I insert the Rogers Sim into Z10 and still said the current version is up to date.

That's why i think the OTA update is not depends on the Carrier SIM, but depends on the version of the Z10 "STL100-2".

i think the update only works for 100-3.

So means only the Z10 "STL100-3" version can use the different SIM "Rogers" to get the OTA OS update.

Do you know how can "STL100-2" get the OTA OS update? Using Leaked OS at this stage and wait for carrier support OTA OS in future?

I got it on my 2 using a vodafone UK sim so I think it is carrier based.
Just going by my experience

Means STL100-3 needs canada carrier. And STL100-2 needs UK carrier.

Mine is also stl002 which is UK/europe unlocked phone. No update here as yet in indonesia.
The only countries having updates are canada (stl003) and uk(stl002). The update threads are confusing because it didn't say specific countries/model/carrier.
