Thanks! This is the first detailed look I've seen of the camera and video on BB10. The camera is not a make or break feature for me but I was hoping for it to at least be on par with what others had. And it appears that is quite nice.

i agree actual shots with the cameras would be better comparison i think for most people. from shots i have seen from the dev device it appears it will be right there with the iphone IMO. Im not too worried.

While panorama would be a nice feature to have, I can't see using it nearly as often as the BB10 camera features that where shown off in the demo. e.g dragging the focal point, pinch zooming in videos etc.

What about panoramic shots?

I have a NEX 6 camera with panoramic feature. The feature is very nice to have but I don't use it as often as I thought. I could see it's useful for real estate agents.

I see people with iPhone 5's doing it all the time. The camera and the camera software is one of the features I really like about mine.

We still need a side-by-side comparison of camera shots and video between BB10 and iPhone 5.

But the BB10 camera software is very nice and seems to have more useful features than the iPhone.

To be clear, I believe this is an app that utilizes the camera. One exists for the Playbook already so I would expect one to exist for the BB10 phones as well. Also, this is more than a panoramic capture, it is a 360 degree picture.

I use TurnMe Panorama on my Playbook as well, it is fun to toy around with.

The amount of functionality and features are FAR superior to the iPhone. Its pretty much undeniable after watching that video. He did not show the side by side pictures or side by side video. Once that is completed the magazine comparison test check box goes to blackberry 10 for camera.
