I have a ATT Passport. In the web browser I have it set to be in Desktop Mode, so I can avoid loading crappy mobile web pages. However most websites still appear to load in mobile mode. Is there anything I can do about that?

Could you perhaps share the websites that don't wanna go into desktop mode?

Note: some websites force the mobile themes and don't look at the useragent.

Surely it's because they are looking at the user agent that is the reason they are serving mobile content?

Either that or the display dimensions, however either way it's probably done to avoid seeing a site that doesn't render very well on a mobile device.

    I love the BlackBerry browser,
But for one or two sites I need the "full website" so I use the Dolphin browser and set it to desktop mode,
    It works great.
