Hey folks so I deleted an app wanted to do a fresh install of it with the new update version.

However after deletion it's gone from my applications but still shows up under installed in BlackBerry World.

I've done a refresh in BlackBerry World and hard reset twice of my device. Under installed it let's me hit the open button but nothing works cause its been deleted.

    Any recommendations?

    Thx

I had this problem with Igrann pro before & the only solution for me was to reload the app then delete from storage area. It took like 20 minutes but after it was gone from all areas in the phone & in the App World also.

That's my issue I want to reload the app but I can't. How would I reload it if it's already showing as installed.

Like I said it has the open button but nothing happens. And when I hit the uninstall button again it shows me this.

@ 007storm : I understand what you are saying, but I was able to reload the app then go to storage in the settings & delete from there.
You other option is to contact the developer via his email & explain the situation & maybe he can offer a suggestion. He is usually very good at finding work arounds.

And how would I refresh BlackBerry world?

I hit the check for updates button. And under available apps I hit refresh as well.

Is there another refreshing that I'm not seeing?

    Thx

You kinda said you refreshed App World.......so I never suggested doing it.
To refresh you swipe down from top when in App World look for configurations, open it & under general there is a refresh button

If you happen to have Backup Pro there is a utility buried under settings that accomplishes the forced deletion of those stubborn files that won't delete with the regular file manager. It may be worth a try if you have it available to you.

@ ZEDTROSPEKTIV.......this is a work around from my ex-gf: after Snap chat was pulled she had the same issue in her Z30. What she did was to insert a unused SD card then transfer the file from the device to the card then format the card in her laptop.
Don't ask why I still talk to that crazy cow.......hope this works for you.
