    I did a security wipe and then updated the software to the latest 10.3. When I installed whatsapp and facebook I noticed that all the contacts in fb have synced to whatsapp. I have now about 1500 contacts in whatsapp which is causing it to slow down. Can someone tell me a solution to this?

    Delete the contacts in your contacts app that you don't regularly communicate with. They're just taking up space anyway. Then you'll only. Have the contacts that you need in both your contacts app and WhatsApp.

    I have over 8,000 contacts in my phone and not once has Whatsapp or any other app slowed down because of it. If Whatsapp is slowing down for you, then it's something else.
