    Both my wife and myself have received sms from Rogers wile in the US that the phone or an app is trying to access data. Bill also show data roaming charges. How is that possible when data roaming is set to OFF?

    Could it happen if you are on wifi and it drops the signal so the phone switches to data even if the system setting is off?

    I travel to the US every month and I have never seen that text message before. Only get welcome to the US roaming rates as follows etc.

    As instructed contact Rogers. I have a CANADA / US data plan and noticed I got billed the 7.99 per day data roaming fee. Reversed of course when I brought it to their attention.
