So on the Local calendar I see HOME. And want to create some extra categories, but I cannot figure out how. I know if I link with Gmail or the like I can, but I don't want my calendars on the cloud like that..

Is there a way to create other calendars without the need for gmail etc?

the home calendar is the local on on your device. That's it. If you want to add subscribed calendars or shared ones or gmail, yahoo ones etc, thats additional ones.

Hmm yah I didn't wanna share any as I wanted bills separate from appointments etc. But thanks for clarifying it can't be don't without a third party

What about using Remember to add your bill as a task, with a due date, for instance. You can then go into calendar settings and set it to show "tasks".

This is an excellent idea, forgot tasks also show in the calendar. I'm gonna do it this way
